How’d the strike meeting go? When is the strike going to begin?
Good meeting brothers and sisters! Thanks for coming out! Time to strike!
Tonight’s the meeting boys. Managers scared but we not. Here we go!!
Will there be free hot dogs?
If I had a nickel every time I read one of these strike posts or “let’s strike brothers”, I’d be richer than Mr. 11% approval rating.
Managers don't give 2 phuucks about you! Just pull yourself up by your little girl paaanties and do your phuuucking job!
Apparently they didnt add enough u's the first post.
Managers mad and double posting. This is great. See everyone tomorrow night.
Go ahead and strike dumb phuuucks! Walmart is hiring!
Go ahead and strike dumb phucks! Walmart is hiring!
Especially if you strike.
Just so everyone is aware we do have the ability to strike. This is America not North Korea. And up has the ability to bring in scabs to do the work at that point. One of these is already happening. Now ask yourself if you are willing to walk out with the possibility of getting fired to stand up for what you believe in. Sooner or later it will all be scabs working the railroads.
Can we please be more Gender Neutral! Car Department (Not Carmen) Yard Professional (Not Yardmaster) Train Professional (Not Trainmen) Supervisor (Not MANagers). Come on! We are better than this...... haha
Managers getting mad yelling in all caps. They don’t even know the difference in they’re and their. That’s how you know it is a manager.
See everyone at the meeting.
Nation wide sick out for 2 days.
Seriously? Listen up Mr. OP! A strike will never happen. Instead of stirring sh1t up, you should try reading the rules and regulations in place for the RR industry. Just for humor, how do you think it'll end? A RR strike would end faster than it started. An order would be issued forcing you back to work. Seriously though, you really should try reading the rules and regulations regarding this topic. Quit posting garbage that'll never happen and giving folks what is possibly the largest feeling of false hope that a strike would do anything.
RE: Proposed Strike
We know how this ends; by never beginning in the first place, but it takes a few steps to get there:
1) Make some vague reference to organizing a strike (ex. OP subject line)
2) Receive replies from people who (correctly) say a strike will never happen, because reality is actually a thing.
3) Union bros go into full reaction mode, accusing everyone who disagrees of being part of some widespread corporate conspiracy, working in collusion with the owners of this site to prevent the strike.
4) Thread gets buried by a bunch of others filled with guttural rants and complaints about everything but layoffs, conversation ends, and everyone goes back to hating their jobs and showing up just like before.
If there are managers on here I am sure they are scared, lol. The union is powerless to strike or do anything in reality. Tell me one thing in the past 30 years they have done to make things better for the workers? The union and the company are in bed together and have been for a long time, only some are too dumb to realize this.
Is there gonna be free hot dogs?
Managers on here getting scared
Crazy to even think this might happen. The unions have no power to strike, and would not if they did. The higher up in the unions are bought off
I needed a good laugh to start the day.
Looks like management already trying to shut it down.
LIES!! No one will ever trust smart.
No way! Those guys just like to bicker amongst themselves!
