I would like to be optimistic and think that the things will improve here, but I am afraid that this company could even be shut down by the summer. That’s just my opinion. All indications are that this ship is sinking at high speed. Unfortunately. What are your predictions, what can the remaining employees expect here by the summer?

Who was the bass player for the Formers ? I thought he died . And the guy from the Latters replaced him. I heard they were going on tour this summer . Unless spike # 63 of COVID hits .
The Formers are soooooooo awesome . I love when they stop a song right in the middle and then play a full game of Scrabble. And the audience just sits there in silence . The drummer has 17 Tom toms and so every member of the Formers has their own “ table “ for Scrabble.
I saw them once when I was in college .

If you’re a “ remaining “ employee- don’t act surprised when you’re out of a job.
Elliott did not buy Barnes and Noble to shut it down after a year or so. It doesn’t work that way . There are years and years of cost trimming and change change change to come. It is not the end of the line for the company. But it will not get much better for the store level people.
However, after COVID 19 is under control , physical stores will more than likely see a lift , as consumers will want a real shopping experience again. That will be a bright spot if that does happen .
