Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Boy am I happy!

I hope the company can put away all the anger and hostility with the changes going on. I can fully understand it but I really do believe if management would be more open as to why they are making changes, include the front line employees at all levels, and exercise transparency the end result would be better for the employees, production and profitability. Give all something to truly believe in. Retirement is awesome. More busy doing things I love without the politics. Keep at it and stay focused on truth. It always wins.

@3yrvm, you must not be paying attention. They did and have told us currently and in prior periods that staffing will be reduced by attrition. It is currently going on in LOC locations. If you pay attention to what you see on the home page and what you get in your email from leadership the only way they can make it any clearer is to dumb it down to a 3rd grade level.

They cant come out and tell us they plan to let attrition thin the ranks of claim handlers and replace those people with technology, and plan to have all handlers do everything because they expect to lose 60% of their current employess before this "transformation" is done.

If it was positive for the employee it would be told to us every huddle, be on the home page, and emails would pop up about it. But its not. Its extremely negative. And they cant risk losing their workers until they are ready to lose them.

Too many hands on each others “tech” pockets and agendas and money changing hands to be honest. Nepotism
