Really awful. Did it happen to anyone else that they got laid off shortly after they got the bonus???
It’s my fault that I thought the bonus meant some security, so I was unprepared for the layoff. That’s what they do, give people bonus so that they calm down and don’t start looking for other jobs because of possible dismissals. They take advantage of us till the very end. Shame.

My coworkers are all crowing that we got a raise this week, how could they lay us off? Geez. Anyone that dumb to think because we got a raise they won't cut us, deserves to be cut. The SRO flat told us half of us are gone.
Maybe you should complain to the union... file a grievance see how far that gets you...

Lay-offs after the annual bonus is normal..... has happened every year that I've been employed at this company!
