Details of severance pay

How generous is the company when it comes to severance pay? How satisfied are you? Can severance pay be negotiated here?

i was a tech for 21 years. received enhanced voluntary package $44k. $20k voluntary, 24k for years of service. after i saw the path they were on with everyone being essential to running the business in my area, i decided to leave. converted pension and 401k to ira, and got a different job. have watched this rot on the vine. pensions, benefits, and wages are the targets. your skills don't matter.
union is useless. get rid of overhead and headcount for either a sale to a su—r provider with government loans or toss it in the garbage. too bad, local network people are awesome people!!
great opportunites to expand the business, but the upper echelon of management don't care.
loyal customers are going to struggle, and decide to jump ship.

3 years ago I got an enhanced VSPP $137,000 but needed 2 more years to hit the magic 75 and then it would have been $300,000+. all they did was save money.

Unless you’re a bargained employee they owe you nothing other than your last check. So many waiting on the next round of layoffs hoping for severance may be surprised when they are offered nothing. Been there done that.

Apparently you don't work for this company. Anyway to answer your question. Yes they are generous. We receive 3.5 million. U.S dollars for leaving

Any amount of money to leave that place is worth it! A dollar or two and it’s so worth it! Place is a sweatshop! You make millions for the millionaires and they pay you squat! No thanks!
