I hate how few details there are about the ongoing layoffs. Any chance somebody here knows what's getting hit today? I know for a fact there are more layoffs happening right now but I can't find where. I think they do this on purpose - making sure we are always worried about having a job to keep us on our toes and compliant.

Montana was hit on April 7. I am one of those being let go. Last day is July 6.
And I also think we should all band together and sue the union for not representing us the union was late to our layoff meeting and had no answers of what legal action they would take to make sure no contractors would be working when we got laid off and to keep them from working after we get laid off they said they would ask for those documents but not hold the company to legal action
Every big intersection plywood size signs should be erected to tell everyone lumen is still century link they just changed the name due to poor customer service and there laying off there quality workers for unskilled workers causing there long delays in receiving service and again to cancel there service go with another company if they loose customers at an alarming rate they will not continue
Tacoma got hit half of every crew except cdt we need to let the public know and to cancel there service in support of workers then they will loose stock if people do it and there is work lots of it but contractors are doing it
Got hit today, I hope nothing but ill will to the higher ups of this company, hopefully their yacht sinks in the middle of the ocean with them in it!

Very true, the company policy is before they do layoffs or offer vspp or anything like that, they notify the union usually a day or two before it is announced.
Ask your Union representatives, if they say they don't know, they are lying. Oregon, Idaho and Washington coming next week.
