We have had so much turnover over the past 5 years that we were sc-aping the bottom of the barrel even before the layoffs. Now we are forced to fill the seats in mass due to being so short staffed. Combine the "bottom of the barrel" that makes up the 80% of new hires here plus the mass rush to fill the seats and we have classes full of people who don't care, don't wish to learn, don't want to work hard, and just have their paws out for a paycheck for doing bare minimum. But they are a lot cheaper than the actually skilled and tenured employees laid off and that is the name of the game now to ensure Tom and the gang get their bonuses.
This right here is one of our biggest issues right now. I frankly wouldn't give a damn that Allstate is getting c-appy employees after the way it's been treating us in the past few years, but this ends up hurting the rest of us even more. We are stuck doing the work of the new hires who have zero desire to do anything but the bare minimum. And that's why so many long-term employees have been getting burnt out and leaving.
