I'm in my late 50s, Band 10. I told my boss I plan to retire mid-year. He is trying everything he can think of to get me to stay to the end of 2022. Or failing that, the end of this year.
I dunno, maybe some of you should try being more valuable instead of coasting on your seniority?
One of many suits on this. IBM would do well to settle before discovery again. Just too much evidence and witnesses on this one. It was a given for at least the past 6 years that those over 55 had a target on their back.
