Wanted to know what you all think is the chances of Tampa offices closing down in September? If so would they let us know in June or July? Any insight would be appreciated. I am looking for another job so I am keeping active with the job search.

Given the recent mayoral election in STL where the new mayor supports further police defunding, and MFN already saying that he can't hire for there, I'd judge that there's a change of plans underway. I'd bet that STL will have a nominal HQ (like Prudential does in Newark) and gradually many operations will move to the available space in Tampa and what's being built in Charlotte. Tampa may eventually be shut but that is where the workforce is, as a poster noted below.
As to legacy WellCare employees in FL who enjoyed remote work...the 'cubie' mentality will persist and you'll be in an office or gone.
CNC wants two things. 1 - Access to a talent pool in a growing location and 2 - A place that talent wants to be. St Louis is neither of those things. NC and FL offer both. Charlotte is heavy on finance and tech. Think it through.
phs is not going anywhere
I doubt that Tampa office is closing, maybe certain departments but definitely not long term care.
You need to look at the job openings in FL for Centene by State, then by city. There are enough openings in FL and Tampa specifically that they are not closing that office down. I think, based on previous posts, that it is wishful thinking for some folks. It sounds like a major cluster, but not one that is closing. There are more openings in Tampa alone than in the current STL headquarters, and in FL as a total it ranks at number one with the most openings out of every State.
The entire Tampa Operation wont be shut down in September. If we are moved to Charlotte, it will be in waves with IT going first.
