I will never understand why they are moving almost 40 of us auto adjusters (some being really higher performers) to CCC in June while they are mass hiring auto adjusters. Why didn't they just do new hires within CCC? And over a week after our meeting we still have no clue what our new roles are within CCC. A total mess!
They are not laying off auto adjusters. They are desperately trying to replace all the ones they layed off. I’m so curious to know how much this transformative growth ended up costing.

Property claims need adjuster badly. If Allstate was actually smart they’d take the auto adjusters their laying off and put them in property.
@Narcisit maybe Allstate can invest in Fairy Dust and sprinkle it on the internet to make consumers magically purchase Allstate’s very expensive P&C products. Moreover, the Fairy Dust will make Allstate’s obnoxious bureaucracy go away so customers can navigate the company with ease. The Fairy dust will also alleviate the cogs in the claims department caused by all the layoffs and the shift of services being provided out of India. Allstate has such a great record of selling their services direct. The 106 (Esurance) loss ratio will go down to an 89 LR also. In fact Allstate is going to take marketshare away from Progressive with this Fairy Dust also. Never mind the fact that 50% of Progressive’s sales is generated by agents. Your comment is very ignorant and reflects your 6th grade education. If Allstate thought they did not need agents they would have been gone years ago.
Hopefully Allstate will start severing ties with agents and investing in tech to make it simple to customers to buy direct and not need to deal with the overpaid, narcisists
The bell is going to toll for Allstate Commercial! Much like is tolled for Allstate Life. How long the folks last at the broker dealer is in question also. More money I phone watantees.
Over 50 claims processors were given their notice this week and 30 auto claims adjusters are being lifted and shifted to CCC end of June (already notified per meeting last week). Plus there are still plans to mass move most claims functions to India later this year....so the answer to your question is....claims.
