There were over 30,000 pre orders for the Mach-E, and now this excitement for the Lightning. Like it or not, Ford will do very well selling BEV's.

And how did the Mach-E launch go: botched launch, delay after delay, recall.
Repeat coming for the F-150. Going to be hard moving vehicles parked for production issues that just rely on batteries.
Serious challenges ahead for Ford who has fumbled quality and performance making ICE vehicles for decades.
This is the beginning of Ford’s death

Personally, I don't care who is CEO. I want to see a company that employs 180k+ people around the world, with good paying jobs, succeed. I never will understand some of the post from allege Ford employees moaning on as to how bad they have it and who wish to see the company fail and/or go bankrupt.
Regarding BEV's, that ship has sailed. World governments and auto manufacturers are investing billions and billions of dollars to make that a reality in 10 years. It is not up to the consumer preferences of the consumer any longer in this situation.
Similar to smoking ban for restaurants and bars. If you don't like it don't go to bars and restaurants. Same with electric vehicles, don't buy one, Hold on to your ICE until it falls apart. In 10 years the only new vehicles for sale will be BEV's.
More fake Ford PR, wonder why some individuals reserving blocks of trucks? Could it be to create false appearance of product demand?
Pfffft, only 45,000 reservations? I have millions of reservations about that truck. ICE is the king of the road and OFF ROAD.
I don't like it. EV's are bad for the environment and great for China.
Lithium mines, cobalt mines, rare earth mines, bags of batteries..... all worse for the environment, worse for freedom, worse for the US, better for China and better for technocrats and plutocrats who want you controlled and locked down.
Ok Jim-minion
