Thread regarding Anthem Inc. layoffs

Position of Anthem in insurance industry?

Sometimes I feel ashamed in front of people from other companies in this industry to say that I work at Anthem because now everyone already knows how bad this place is.
It is tragic that there are still many very talented people working here who would surely be much more valued in competing companies. Anthem is very lucky that not everyone has left yet, but I don't think that luck will last long.

Haha....I’m with the mo**n. If you don’t say anything to shed light on a concern you are apart of the problem. If your embarrassed by a place you work for then try to fix it or leave. Why continue to work there it’s only going to continue to be a negative. Trust me I was in a toxic environment, I told management where they needed to correct issues, they didn’t think there was a problem. I left and am 1000X happier and guess what a year after I left they started to correct their issues.

To the person saying do something about it by speaking up you are the complete mo--n. That will get you fired. When you mention you work at Anthem especially to healthcare professionals, everyone hates Anthem!!!

I somehow feel like one of these responses belong to a “lost” manager or Gail. I mean the company is trash. Accept it. Smh

If you feel ashamed then you should probably start looking for somewhere else to work or speak up about your concerns. Sorry to be blunt but Anthem will continue to be a shame unless you speak up. Quit complaining about the problem and do something about it.

I suggest you quit so you don’t endure the “shame”.
