50+ in processing and over 20 in SIU got their walking papers on Thursday. Other claims areas to be impacted over time through August as the expected transition of claims to India starts to take hold and becomes reality.

In my auto unit we’re praying to be laid off. Over a year of being overworked is exhausting. The stress hit a high point with all the auto adjusters being laid off and is being divided into zones causing a backlog in inspections. Just not enough adjusters to write all the estimates . We can’t even handle our own local areas anymore and shops call us begging us to write estimates on cars sitting at their shops 1-2 weeks . Now Allstate has acknowledged they laid off to many adjusters and is now desperately trying to hire them back at less pay ! We’ve been told to call our former coworkers and ask them to come back lol. Embarrassing times.
I too heard of the processor and siu cuts thurs. Also some auto adjusters were informed they will be lifted and shifted to ccc in late june. The pieces starting to be moved in claims.
All property positions that were in my office are being cut. Some of them held by people who have been with the company 20 plus years. There's talk of moving some of them to auto, but auto is so bad that no one wants to do it. I'm not in property, but I can't stay at a company that thinks it's okay to do this
Processing to be phased out and work absorbed by VA adjusters
Had heard some processors might have been let go BUT I'm in SIU and heard of no such pink slips and SIU has been adding positions. You might be 1/2 right.
Yup. legal and claims the big areas of cuts this year. Hoping for my severance package by 4th of July.
