It really doesn't make sense anymore! I do work for several people and it’s been going on for months. Riverbed doesn't want to do anything about it. Will it change for the better? Eventually I can only expect to work even more. I'm tired of working to exhaustion in this company.

@dlff - Wrong!
@dlff - you’re definitely riverbed management - clearly you do not read well and your comments are completely off mark.
Booooo Hoooooo big bad Riverbed owes me a free living....Life used to be soooo easy back in 2010 when this sh-t sold itself.

RE 2nd poster:
Who leaves a company a 'couple of years ago' yet manages to reply to a post on their layoffs page within 24 hours? Do you really have nothing better to do? That's insane.
People who are staying only do it for practical reasons. It’s a far cry even from a couple years ago.
Be grateful for pay cheque for now. I expect 2021 will be brutal.
Sadly RVBD no longer has products that people want to buy - despite what the marketers will try have you believe. And it’s been like that for too long. The products are redundant, superseded and dated. Competitors do a variety of things way better.
RVBD completely botched the transition to SDWAN which should have been lucrative. However that did not work out and sadly they burned a ton of cash doing so, trying to retrofit the poor Ocedo product onto the Steelhead product line was a disaster. It really started to change when Dr McCanne departed.
I worked there for 10 years and loved it for a long time. I worked with smart people and had lots of fun too. I got out a couple of years ago as whilst I hoped a turnaround would come thru it was always around the corner. I realised TB would not do anything revolutionary only cut heads when they didn’t make EBITDA. Company is now just spinning plates with minimal incremental updates to product which is too little to make a difference.
RVBD has a very poor track record of making any success out of acquisitions so that is a non starter and TB wouldn’t put more cash in anyways.
It is very hard to see a positive exit for TB.
I wish it were very different, sometimes even though everyone tries really hard it just doesn’t work out how you intended.
Best of luck to everyone still there - I had some of the best years of my career there and try to remember the happy times !
Expect more of the same, and for what? Your health is not worth all of that. A lot of companies are starting to hire. Might be a good time to look elsewhere
