They probably think that if they repeat enough times that employees are a "priority", that we will all begin to believe that they are starting to care about us. Does anyone really believe their platitudes, as if we don't see what's really going on??? I find that their words are completely at odds with what they actually do.

Ok, they say they care.
How does this care manifest itself to me?
It feels like the checkout staff at the supermarket asking me how I am and to have a nice day.
It costs nothing and delivers nothing.
Care is enhanced benefits, its having a nice working environment (eg my office redecorated or a new canteen opened), its having clear cut pay review structures, promotion, career development, externally recognisable training.
Its not telling every manager to have 1:1 meetings once a month and asking me if I am ok while they tell me about the golfing holiday they have booked.
It really shouldn't be a surprise that "big" companies do not really care about their employees - they never have done - not just DXC.
Everything that they pretend to do is just lip-service or a "box ticking exercise".
The only response we have is to leave in our droves, unfortunately a lot of us are not in the position to do so - so we have to put up with all of this bull ...
Totally agree. Still no pay rises, more people being made redundant and Mikey mk2's priority is a new logo!. Says it all.
