Given the long lead time of oil and gas exploration and the incredible importance of it to the survival of the planet (people do realize hydrocarbons are responsible for putting food on billions of peoples plates everyday, right?), I’d say this proclamation is a bit like jumping out of an airplane without a parachute and saying “I’ll figure it out” before you hit the ground.

Hah! What's a dream is O&G growth through the next 10 years. It's laughable to believe that India and China growth will see nearly as much O&G use as the US. Both of them are allreading leading in renewable infastructure and manufacturing. That there is already going to suck out huge amounts of O&G demand.

Nothing but the the race to the bottom from here people! At least we are first place is something these days! Haha

With more tax breaks and government money pouring in to renewables, id say its closer to reality vs dream. It may not be the most cost effective solution to provide energy, however it is the future of energy use.

What that article fails to mention is that we have XOM managers! The best and the brightest! They will "manage" us out of this situation. Heck! Did you know our managers came up with the idea of holding a hand rail so we are safe?!?! There is nothing our XOM managers can't figure out!

If you go to your web browser at XOM and type Goto/daddy you will see more info about this.
