Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

This bank needs to work more on preventing the brain drain

People are leaving constantly and nobody is doing anything to stop them. And by this I mean people who have been here the longest and who have invaluable knowledge we should not be losing. Every time we lose a team member they have to hire two people to be able to cover everything he or she used to do. Even then it's inferior work. How is that good for the bank?

The root of the problem goes deep into the DNA of how things are done here. The company would need to transform itself into a place that people really want to work and enjoy working. That's a long way to go. All the talk about modernization, its internal marketing really. They're not modernizing fast enough, and at this pace they're not going to keep up with the pace of the industry.
But then if the Business keeps doing well, who has any motivation to do anything about this?
