Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Eric Brandt salary

Disclosures show Brandt has total compensation of around $1.1 million a year. This really isn’t super high when you think about it....more like highly paid doctor or lawyer level.

People should quite acting like he is making all this money or a wealthy person.

Who cares what EB salary is. The ship is sinking. Soon 90% of Allstate will be located in India!

You all fail to recognize that when you get to the EB/GS/TW level, their real money is in the stock they own. Take a look at the millions they trade. That’s where their money is. Their salary is nothing compared to that.

Go back to your 5 figure salary and stop it already. He has earned the right to misguide and mislead your life and just like the rats in the pied piper, you followed him to a point. Now that their isn’t much food left in the sewer, you grunts show your true colors.

Considering how inept Eric Brandt is that is $1.1 million too much. The shareholders should be outraged at this mismanagement of company funds.

Show us the disclosure. He is not a named executive in the proxy, so what are you referencing? GS employment offer letter from February 2016 showed a $500k starting salary in 2016 as Claims EVP along with $295,000 cash signing and $295,000 equity sign on bonuses.

To be fair OP is correct. This is similar to what a law firm partner or a cardiologist would make. Highly paid, but not HIGHLY PAID.
