Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Allstate is poorly run

I swear, this has to be the worst company I have ever worked for. The incompetence on all levels of management is astounding. All the changes made in the past several years make no sense. It makes you wonder if the ELT has any idea what they're doing. Spoiler alert: they don't.

It just seems like they make these decisions AKA transformative growth, but don't fully think it through before the Implement. That is always the case with Allstate. They Implement these wild ideas then have to backtrack to correct their mistakes. why is that????

$6 hour Indian workers to handle total losses and write estimates from photos or $20-30 hour American adjusters . Tom sold out the American worker a long time ago. Still never going to overtake Progressive and Geico

Margins are increasing wherever operations are moving to India, because it turns out five Indians for the price of a single US worker, so maybe not such a bad idea after all. Allstate is just making moves the competition moved to ages ago. Slow to the finish line as usual.

The goal is simple, move everything they can to India. Makes perfect sense, despite being a bad idea.
