Serious companies have a plan, but is Allstate doing anything at all to prevent possible cuts?
They don't seem to be doing anything about it.

Of course they are NOT going to stop layoffs! They want the old and highly paid to LEAVE ! It’s disgusting but face it. The older and more money you make you are targeted. Why do companies like Allstate keep getting away with this covert BS where the worker gets hammered on both ends? How does TW GS and EB sleep at night? What a rotten legacy they are establishing in a pandemic. Where does the bureau of labor and industries stand on these tactics ? This is borderline illegal the cr-p this company does.

Layoffs? Claims paid people to leave in November, and has struggled with service levels since. Close to 1000 openings and turnover at record levels. Agent and customer dissatisfaction may result in Brandt losing his job.
In claims Brandt is doing what he can to prevent more layoffs.
They’re waiting fir India to open back up after the Covid wave subsides. Their plan of laying off all those auto appraisers backfired and now they’re trying to hire 300 virtual assist adjusters ASAP plus bringing in hundreds of independent adjusters to keep up with the backlog of overdue inspections across the country . We’re working 10-12 hour days plus being offered overtime on weekends to catch up.
Allstate is losing policies hand over fist and one d-mb management move after another. Less policies means less claims and service
Is this a joke? They are doing the complete opposite of trying to avoid layoffs.
The plan is to shift work overseas and layoff anyone unnecessary here. So they aren't doing anything to slow down or stop the layoffs
