Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

I have been here for 30 years and there is no

Strategy. Just desperation and swings forbthe fences and pay allegiance to the Executives. Verizon layed it out for ATT to follow, Network Network Network. There is enoufh traffic to eat very healthy at the trough but ATT egos and illusions of grandeur are always in the way. Verizon dabbles in content for $12B with Yahoo and AOL while ATT puts the mortgage all on Direct TV and Time Warner while hamstringing their wireless business by breathing life and strength into Tmobile. AT&T has been a Waste Treatment Plant Raging Fire while under Stephenson and Stankey. Dividends placated the shareholder base but no more. Stepehsnon and Stankey should be shackled and put on display forbthe Toxic Failures they are along with a culturebthat enables this half baked meglomaniac behavior.

Hard to have work ethics when you don't have work ethics.

Hard to have a real work ethic and sincere loyalty when a bunch of amateur egomaniacs are running the business

To be honest, T-Mobile has come a long way since the failed merger, but it's obvious that they did not realize the difficulty in integrating Sprint's infrastructure and applications. We'll have to see if they can keep delivering high quality, affordable service through the process.

Anyone who is surplus from AT&T with this skillset would be wise to look at T-Mobile.

Why do you care?
They don't.
Just show up, do a decent job, and get paid.
Caring is a study in futility.
