on Friday we got an email telling us that we should wear Exxon Mobil polos and jeans all next week. I cannot imagine who thought that this was a good idea. Not only are most of us pi---d off that we have to be back, but you’re asking us to show company spirit? You’re asking us basically to wear a uniform? It symbolizes how much this is about control. They really thought that telling us to wear Exxon Mobil T-shirts with jeans would be some sort of morale booster, and not a constant reminder of how much we hate this fu----g place. I’m resigning the second that j get the chance.

Most of you will wear your XOM gear tomorrow. You good for nothing lifers need this job. YOU need XOM but they don't need you. Read the last sentence a few times until it sinks in.

The short 3 years I was at the HC before I took the PIL, I wasn’t given one free XOM tshirt, polo, anything. Had to buy my own sh-t for those UW jeans Fridays. Cheap M-F’s.

I don't have any to wear. I noticed the kiss a## s at work wearing there shirts this week. I wont unless the provide work uniforms or clothes. I like my own style and feel of clothing. A few years ago an employee complained that their ni-ples were getting chafed from the exxon uniform shirts. exxon contacted the uniform supplier and tried several different styles of shirts for this person. This person was most difficult and complained constantly. This person also wore crocs inside of the lab and complained that company purchased safety shoes hurt their feet. It is crazy what some people can get away with at exxon. It is like the twilight zone.

At least you guys got EM gear. I worked for EM for 15 years, and I was only given two t-shirts during my tenure.....
Why would you fall for this and wear XOM gear for free giving them free publicity. We ain't human billboard. Now if they pay me per day to do marketing for them than that's a different story. Otherwise, the mgmt. can shove the gear in their rear.
I have given mine to the homeless guy on the street.
