Alternative to Forced Ranking - Example from Microsoft

We are told Forced Ranking is the only way to evaluate employees, and there is nothing else out there.

Here is an alternative that Microsoft applied to stop losing their business advantage over other (i.e., Amazon, Facebook, etc).

That would require EM to admit they were wrong in the design of the Performance assessement process. We all know EM would never admit to making a mistake...it’s here to stay.

Most of my friends in tech don't have this sh--ty forced ranking system. It's terrible.
