Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Whose work should be a priority?

Whenever someone leaves, their job is transferred to the rest of us. That way I now do work for several people. It becomes unclear which job should be a priority, whether I should continue to be the most dedicated to my job or whether the priority should be the work of people who have left. Allstate is one big mess.

You work in auto claims. Come work in property claims and you will sing a different tune.

12 years and you still haven't realized that claims is not an easy job? Slow learner.

:eyerolll: that is now your work... That is what happens when someone quits/is termed and isn't replaced.

It was like that at the prior major insurance company I worked for as well. The work you inherited from the adjusters who quit is sadly yours now . Unfortunately, Allstate laid off too many adjusters and now the customer suffers as a result of delays , overworked adjusters and awful morale . Transformative growth no Bueno

The expectation is you do it all. It’s their plan to get you to quit OR give you a 0.5% raise for not meeting the new goals.
