Stagnation is not good

Guys - I’ve been working almost 40 years and worked at numerous companies. The more I moved, the more I’ve learned, the more I’ve been paid. Group I was with most people had been their 1st or 2nd job in 20+ years. Stagnation is not good - why you need to move around.

Good advice from @ugc+1aOoI53C.

You make the assumption that because a person has been in a job for a number of years then they are either stagnating or are vulnerable to stagnation. The same can be said for people who have been in their jobs for say a couple of years. Ultimately, how motivated people are in their jobs is determined by a number of factors such as their personalities, their work ethic and their employer etc. I've seen plenty of motivated and high performing employees who have worked in a specific role for several years; and I've seen newbies in their roles who struggle to make it into the office on time and fill in their days. My point is that generalizations about people are often most unhelpful and lead to prejudice.
