My LoB is outsourcing to an external "good on the paper" company and also overseas. The quality of work is horrible. Internal Audit is here. Management is working tirelessly to cover up compliance issues. Just disgusting.

OMG! Similar things are happening here. How could those involved asleep at night knowing they cheated the firm for their own job security. The fake "Head of " some BS title pretend showman even fabricated all the numbers for his higher ups. Absolutely dishonest and disgusting
The managers in our department were disappointed when nobody in the department volunteered to mentor our new team members in Manila. Managers were completely oblivious to the amount of stress the offshoring and outsourcing strategies put on US workers. I told them I would not participate in the outsourcing project in any way. The workers in Manila are performing a full appraisal review and then removing their names. Then they send it to a US worker to rubberstamp as if they did the review. This is going to blow up on them, you watch.
Indians are smart people. It's nice to see them have their day and work at the elite bank

Wait until you see some clowns come up with fancy PPT and catch phrases to demonstrate how much they care about you and how they promote minorities. Some bald eagle in my LOB has been spamming the entire LoB about efficiency and automation. The problem is, this eagle is a chicken in disguise

Suddenly DGAF and send everything to India
They should just rename JP Morgan and call it JP Patel or something. Not sure what happened even state side. Over the last 10 years here all my co workers have been replaced with Indians and people from places in the Middle East. Now they're just full on replacing thousands of American's with headcount in India. We have Jamie bouncing up and down over the last year showing Black people and yelling about diversity and inclusion. How about Jamie keep a few American jobs instead.
