Many take the example of Mattel as a company that took advantage of the pandemic, that is, a company to which these new circumstances brought salvation.
However, does it seem to you that this "success" came just like that, without any great effort of the management? Perhaps the pandemic could have been used even more?

Coronavirus (zero cost) did more for Mattel in a year than our overpaid, overbonused, underperforming "management team" has done in ten years.
Think about that.
Of course they will take credit for it.
Must be all those movies in production. People have been begging to see 8-Ball and Viewmaster on the big screen. Two hopelessly outdated products done better as free apps.
Pandemic ending/world re-opening will see Mattel's decline resume. All of our Neros are fiddling away as Rome burns.
