Was notified that Medicare Home Health cases will go to a vendor to be reviewed. The 11 nurses on that team have been told we will be given other positions within the company. Not sure if I believe that or not.

I've asked about being a volunteer for a layoff. Unfortunately no way to do that. It would be perfect since I'm leaving the company!

A lot of insurance companies are divesting themselves of in house UM and contracting with consultants who provide the UM component of the business. After the RIF in March, I was lucky enough to be contacted by one of those vendors. I make more money and have benefits. I like the insurance company that I am working with currently.
