I was upset getting the VTO a few weeks back because I felt it was unwarranted as I do very good work. All it did was push me to immediately look for a new position and I have already gotten an offer with much better pay. I will gladly be accepting the severance now and taking a new job. But for this push to look for something else, I would have just stayed.

It’s true. You Dan leave early and get the payout. Have to give minimum of two weeks notice.
No, I advised them I’m leaving now. Read the fine print, you’re allowed to leave and still get your severance if you get approval. What would I get out of lying about this?
