I'm still disappointed in what our leaders landed on. WFH has been working seamlessly AT HOME. Now we need to come into the office so that we can sit at a desk to do the same. The new office lacks conference rooms so i still dont quite comprehend the thought process. WFH on Fridays is going to be a bust also. Am i supposed to just work off of my laptop? You pick Friday, the day before the weekend on our long week? Genius! I'm sure all of the trustworthy folks will actually do our jobs, but I can imagine we just created an extra Friday off for many of the leaches that have still managed to stay latched on to Denbury.
It would have been a lot better had we gone with specific days of WFH for departments that actually need to be in the office, such as Monday, Tuesday, Friday and in office Wednesday and Thursday. HR should review every position and offer "remote" designation to any role that can be fulfilled from home.
