They already effectively cut pay with the lower/no LTI and the loss of any accumulated stock.

Cut everyone’s pay 30%. To get closer to current pay rates.

I’ve been working more hours from home than I ever have at the office. For us dedicated employees that do our part in progressing the company, this temporary policy makes better sense

I am happy that we are giving Monday and Friday a test run. I think it is a good compromise and it makes good sense considering Monday is typically a meeting day.

It’s almost like the execs are reading this board and hearing us loud and clear. Its refreshing.

Monday and Fridays work from home until end of August is a great compromise. Who knows one or both days could end up permanent if some of you clowns don't blow it for the rest of us. Cant make everyone happy though, someone from the offices will still complain, and someone from the field will always be jealous.

Typically when people want change it entails the new plans being different from the previous plans. Would you rather them have waited longer to make the announcement so that your preference for consistency would be satisfied?

Interesting, now we can work from home on Monday but only in summer. How about we make decisions and stick with them? It’s hard to plan your life outside of Denbury when things change daily.

What schedule will be announced next week?

Google announced 20% of their workforce will permanently work from home. The rest will be working 3 days a week at the office. Obviously not everyone can work from home, sorry field guys. Not like most of y’all would want to be behind a desk anyways.

So spoiled this board is. We are lucky we even have off on those other Fridays. Just think how the fields must have felt during the pandemic before you come on here crying about having to go into work...

To fix any of the employee and workplace issues mentioned you need a real HR leader. Not one who doesn’t even make eye contact or talk to anyone.

No sh!t sherlock, insinuating that the root cause is due to someone's race and/or gender is what's offensive. Lord knows, there's nothing but egalitarian utopias as far as the eye can see anywhere in the world where white men aren't around.

I think the term "white man" was meant more to imply that it is still an old-fashioned good ole boys club rather than the innovative and progressive culture that the leaders like to tout.

I think that that the way the new office has been setup; the engineers, geologists, legal and landmen having offices, and the majority of the support staff, IT, accounting and land admin sitting in cubes, sets the tone for the new Denbury.
It appears that not a penny has been spared on the new building! It is beautiful and very trendy in color and design - or should I say at least the upstairs floor is! And I hear the executive bathroom is astounding! The shower area is amazing - I wonder if we can all use it! 😂
I look back on the old buildings and think of all the furniture! All the technology! All the framed artwork on the walls! So much money wasted! Whose decisions were those?! Ours? No!! Obviously not!
Times are changing! I think that all those with their offices “upstairs” can trudge on in to the office everyday! Those of us worker bees, who have been working diligently this last year or so at home, and who will soon be crammed into cubes “downstairs “ should especially be allowed the consideration of working several days a week at home.
I wish we had an advocate in the company. It seems all about making certain people happy. Unfortunately I think Denbury is becoming very “white man” corporate.
