Can anyone please provide insight on being laid off while on LOA if so what was the process?

Unfortunately yes, I was laidofff with leave and while pregnant.
Anyone on LOA of any sort is fair game for layoffs. There is no protection.
I was not on LOA when I was let go. However, I was on LOA a few months prior. I know someone who was on LOA when let go and it was the same process. They were contacted and told their position was being eliminated. They received an email with the transition information and the option to sign and agree or disagree.
