Gotta love how GS used transformative growth to layoff adjusters only to have to replace them with pilot adjusters for who knows how much more additional cost to the company. What a d-mba$$

Allstate has become a toilet bowl company. You NEVER get out, you only go down the drain.

problem shop here: it is crazy how Allstate is directly and unapologetically disregarding NYS law. the law states you have to inspect within 6 days at the shop and some adj from Arizona tells us "use VA or go kick rocks" lol..... then they refuse to give their license numbers and wont turn on their VA video feed. i am going to keep being a problem shop, had 3 Allstate adjusters in our shop last week so i guess its working.

They’ve already asked us to turn in finish cars , cell phones and mifi in the next few months . Allstate really thinks virtual assist is the answer. Customers and shops are demanding adjusters go assess the damage in person since they’re getting lowballed by Allstate refusing to pay what’s right.

Good luck if you wanting to go back in the field. From what I know and hear it will be very minimal (10% of total auto claims) and will be on a cases by case basis (problem shops and tow yards). And expect to continue to receive the daily barrage of dripped virtual inspection assignments to complete while spending your time in the field without any consideration for travel. Now making the impossible more impossible to complete the already mounting of your pending claims. Sometimes makes you wonder if this isn't their way on setting you up for failure. Sadly in the end the one that suffers the most is the customer, which clearly by now we all know this company does not care about anymore.

We are going out to the “trouble” shops on a case by case basis. We are so behind on addressing first look estimates and supplements being done off photos or virtually due to short staffing .

The Catastrophe team is back in the field after recent hail storms. They even set up a drive in in Oklahoma staffed with a lot of Pilot adjusters.

@1gbr Well it is either a vendor or someone from the repair shop because I can personally vouch that we are not currently meeting anyone on site for claims. I wish we were as it is not a good customer experience to do all of this virtual.

Dispatcher here. We have a handful of field adjusters in several Southern states at shops doing a pilot program . Writing estimates from photos isn’t working . Numerous shops are charging crazy fees to do the work of adjusters increasing pressure on Allstate to start sending our adjusters out again .

I just set up a claim online and had the option for an adjuster to meet on site. This was an auto claim from hail damage.

There are no moves back to that especially with most of that planned to be moved to India once COVID there wanes.
