What do you think ( or know) is going to happen to all the remote employees that didn't work in office, who were already working from home prior to the pandemic?

How about for people that were remote 5 days a week before covid? Will they also have to return at least a day a week?
Leader in the know here - Although the intial return to the office will be done in stages the expectation is that all employees will eventually return to the office. Remote work is not going to be a long-term option. For folks who have moved away from their local/assigned "work office location" during the pandemic expect to return to the office or lose your position. This is company never believed in work from home and that's not going to change.
I think its bs and trust me I have already reached out to the appropriate contacts regarding it.. I think it will take more on others behalf, but I definitely put a bug in some peoples ears.
I wonder what remote workers like me who are on his team and are overworked must be thinking about this supervisor playing favortism with this person who I know that is in the office. I wonder how I should approach my supervisor on the next 1 on 1 and ask him about him doing this with this employee. Its crazy that he is my supervisor. Wow if in fact this is going on...
Clearly someone in PHS is grinding an axe. Let me clear it up for you - it doesn’t matter whether you like it there or not, or care about what a manager does or doesn’t do - you need to start looking for your next job. PHS with WCG was a joke. Price how many leaders are gone? This is layoff 101 - start at the tip and worn your way down. What’s left will move to North Carolina.
I believe the “get a clue pal” comment appears to be directed at the CEO MFN and the lazy supervisors that are constantly brought up on this board. Leadership needs to get a clue, period. It’s NOT directed at those of us on the board trying to help each other and getting through these tough times.
Who gives a rats a-s about REN 4. Stop acting like children - you are the type of employee that no one likes, even management. Go get a life and a real job - stop playing with the pre-schoolers in the sandbox or crying because you're foolish enough to work so hard and WATCH others not working. You're the foolish one! Stop crying
: @3mpz+1aIUDPxb you're an id--t!
I thought this was a forum for helping other employees in preparing for potential and/or imminent layoffs.
Who the he-l are you addressing this to? "Get a clue pal and f*ck off -". Isn't this a site where one is allowed to voice their thoughts of what was asked and not just agree with 'Your opinion"? It seems obvious that you are representing the mentality of what you say you despise - closed!!!. Your way, your opinion, you know it all - no wonder you respond the way you did.
MFN needs to get with the times in terms of remote work. A lot of us made the switch during the pandemic and proved that remote work can be successful. But, this isn’t what Dinosaur Michael thinks is best. Get a clue pal and f*ck off - same goes to the CM id--ts in REN 4 that have been repeatedly mentioned on this board. To Centene’s HR Team - what exactly is your purpose? You certainly don’t advocate for employees and are just trying to save your own as--s, just like the senior leadership.
I'm leaning towards the future to be remote 3-4 days a week and at least a day in the office weekly. Again, Centene never HAD to produce with remote resources and technology for 100% of workforce if at all, until the pandemic. So they've proved, even to themselves, that YES they can do it and it works. There's a lot of people who love being in the office and will be able to. I'm just not convinced, now that they've seen it works, to go back to 100% against remote employees in the future.
HealthNet is in California, and my friend was commuting right up to the pandemic. The dinosaur CEO is against remote work and has kept on preaching throughout the pandemic that everyone will return to the office. Yes, outdated work practices for sure.
What year and State was this Health Net employee traveling 2 hours to the office? It seems that there's a lot of investment already made into remote work since 2020 with technology and resources. I'm not sure that reference of no remote work allowed as the same scenario as today and that the company will return to that ridiculous mindset.
*insensitive dorn phone.
Wow! 2 hours. That was very incentive of them.
The dinosaur will issue an ultimatum: work in the office, or leave. I know someone who worked for Health Net and that is what happened to her and everyone in her department. She had a two hour commute each way and they didn’t care. She tolerated long enough to find another job and left.
