Costa Mesa Kmart was told this morning they will be closing by May 30th. A quick close for sure.

This liquidating store isn't currently on SB360's list. Maybe it will be next week, but it isn't now.
What difference does it make when it's closing? The store has been sold to SB360 now, and has nothing to do with Transformco. What's more important, is what other stores are being sold? Costa Mesa Kmart is history. Even if they didn't close until December, they still have nothing to do with Kmart or Sears anymore, they have a different owner now.
The store has confirmed, on its own Facebook page, that it is closing on May 30. That should remove any remaining doubt about the closing date. This is a very fast liquidation.

It might be tomorrow
So this is the only closing in this "list"? Pretty small list then.
I have read elsewhere that this is the oldest remaining Kmart, opened in 1963, just a year after the chain started.
I was in Costa Mesa this past Saturday. It looked like it was already in liquidation half the store was bare. I walked out.
Last day to public is May 30th. There is no way they told you july. Right there I know you're full of cr-p. We were all told today exactly what day we will be closing. Its a race to close because they want us out of there asap.
Also all the stores in the shopping center were sent a letter that the new store to take our place will be something called "At Home".
We're down to 21 Kmarts now...
They’re closing by Sunday July 18th
They are not closing by May 30. Called them, they claim July. Call them yourselves, too.
osta Mesa real estate is very valuable. Will be redeveloped
@zmy+1aHvST3a Ya I noticed that too. Odd.
Weird. Why is the job posting dated 4/26? Today is the first day we've seen it.
