Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

Lack of Management Skills

I work in NYC and am amused at the young and upcoming managers who lack of basic understanding of HR rules, labor law or just common decency when speacking to staff (with their do as I say not as I do attitude).

Recently told each peroson in the department with or without the skills/knowledge needs to be able to do each person work, yet no formal cross traning or procedure review was initiated. When asked was time being alloted for cross training or review, answer: you need to do it on your time.

Yeah, they want to cross train everybody to know and do everyone's job. That sounds like an epic fail and a way to stress out and frustrate chase employees into just walking out the door. There are many chase employees who are "Challenged" or "Learning Disabled". How can you cross train them to learn "Everyone's Job"??

Strongly agreed. Bad people managers, social butterflies, and D&I cheer leaders are all in the same category. They are doing nothing but barking their heads off, "look at me, look at me, I am your leader!!!"
