I want our trash cans by our desks again!

Yeah, that's all.

It's the same at Clinton ! A big shock for the folks who moved up from Paulsboro and were used to having their own trash cans emptied every day and their offices cleaned once a week. No-one involved in the NJRSC project even thought to tell people from Paulsboro that they should hang onto their trash cans and bring them up to Clinton with them. Now you must trudge through the corridors and dump your lunch leftovers into a communal trash can - which stinks to high heaven until it's emptied, once a day - and submit a work request to have anyone come around to your office with a vacuum cleaner (even though the corridors themselves are vacuumed every day). We are so effing efficient, we're crushing it !!

I started a new job with 401(k) company match.
Biggest perk though: a real office and a real trash bin!

Dummest decision ever! Haul your lunch trash to the central bin and hope your trash doesn’t leak all over the floor and cause a slip, trip, or fall?’ Insane

I thought they were "recycle bins"... Ha! Build a freakin campus that only has like 2 trash locations per floor... I'm sure whoever proposed that idea got promoted.

Just dump your trash in the bushes.

You could just buy a trash can. They're really not that expensive unless you get a really large or wooden one.

Just don't get a grey wire one.

No trash cans, no need for 3rd party staff to walk around each day emptying 10,000 trash cans.

When your corporation is bleeding money and "Cash is King", one goes to drastic measures to "SAVE MONEY". We will know that the corporation is on sound footing when the trash cans are returned to our cubicles.

Mandatory 8-10% NSI each year will also stop corporate wide.

I wonder how much money was saved when trash cans were removed from the Houston Spring Campus???

Micro aggression? No, not at all. This is a comment on all the little ways the company dehumanizes its employees. I want my red swingline stapler. And also, did anyone else notice how that PADP ladder tool looks like the ‘jump to conclusions’ mat?

I never understood the concept.
What is wrong with having a trash can at your work station?
I had one for 36 years, then oh that's a no no at the compound.
Nuts
Happy to be retired.
