Hiding a layoff

This is the worst thing you can do after you get laid off. I couldn’t disappoint my wife and kids and for a while I hid the fact that I got laid off. I thought I would get a new job very soon and I wanted to spare them the stress, but I actually needed their love and support to get back on my feet. Terrible decision. Never do that.

I think your wife is more disappointed that she married someone d-mb enough to stick around at BN to this point? Do you need a cheer team and streamers to make it obvious you shouldn't have stuck around this long?
