Is Kmart should have hired Dorrell from the old Wal-Mart Commercials and done the same thing Sprint did Hiring the Verizon guy. Kmart could have protrayed the situation as now Dorrell has jumped ship to the better retailer, Kmart & Sears, and make every commercial an attack on Wal-Mart. I think this could have really worked because look at where Spirint phones are now they are a better cell phone company thanks to this marketing tactic. At this point Kmart really needs to go on offensive and show the world they are best.

Kmart and Sears DID Die, for all practical purrposes 20 Years ago. They are just an afterthought now. Nobody hardly shops there.
Kmart was doomed after their massive failure of Big Kmart. If they hadn't wasted billions of dollars on a failed concept they wouldn't have gone bankrupt, and used their stock to buy the near bankrupt Sears who nearly went bankrupt after their softer side campaign failed almost as bad as the failure of Big Kmart. Both were dead since the 90's due to their massive failures.
Sears was dead when KMart bought it. What possible difference does it make to anyone if another posts lists fake or otherwise? This forum is for Sears Holdings, a company that filed for bankruptcy in 2018 and whose assets, such as they were, were transferred to ESL then to Transwhatever.

Who the he-l is Dorrell? I don’t remember those ads, and most people probably don’t. I’ll tell you what KMart/Sears should’ve done. Replace stores with Sears Grands and Super KMarts. They should’ve done that and positioned themselves as better than Wal-Mart but not as good as Target.

Sprint is a better phone company now I think and all they had to do was get good commercials that attacked Verizone and ATT and it workked. IF Kmart had done the same thing with Dorrell from Wal-Mart and been "Hey Im Dorrell I work for Kmart now" it woud have been seen as a huge monmentum shift and more people woud shop your way to Kmart and Sears.
Sears and Kmart never aggressively attacked the conpetition and that is their biggest mistake. They should have been like F U Wal-Mart and people watching the ads woud be like dayum Kmaert means business I gonna shop theire way now.
