Most companies have at least some redeemable qualities but not Allstate. No, this company has the most unprofessional management, no focus, no long-term strategy, constant revenue loss due to incompetence, no accountability...and most importantly no future.

Idk, as an employee of an Allstate subsidiary, the job is pretty good, working on some cool tech around telematics. The only time things suck are when we need to get home office approval to do things that other independent companies would be able to do freely.
Just ignoring home office directives proves the OP’s point exactly.....this company is poorly run and mismanaged. If it was well run, you wouldn’t need to ignore home office directives.
Our area is actually pretty good. Our senior leadership is totally against what Shapiro is doing to the company and they run our shop accordingly and shield us away from Shapiro's poison. Most in my area love their jobs and we just pretty much ignore home office directives.
