Telling the truth

I have never answered the surveys truthfully and I guess most of us have not even intended to ever tell them the truth through surveys. I didn’t want to take risks and thus possibly jeopardize my job until I find something much better.
Lately, however, I think all employees should be telling the truth in surveys. Did anyone tell a bitter truth in a previous anonymous survey and what were the consequences?

Don’t ever believe that those surveys are anonymous. They always say they are but they are anything but. Why else would you get a unique link? Perceptx shares everything. Everything. Once it gets to HR, it’s only a matter of time before they share it with their leaders.

Even if you choose not to respond - they know who you are.

I do not highly recommend anyone to PHS ,that works remotely or in any other city that is not in Florida. You won't be a favorite, u will be of us who will be tortured .

I organized my entire team to tell the truth on the survey after we got a new manager who is rude, judgmental, picky, authoritarian, plays favorites, doesn't listen, knows better than everyone else and who changes expectations every other day (in email, chat or in meetings) without updating our procedures. After getting a new system and changed procedures and being asked to do twice the work for the same pay followed by "meets expectations" reviews because she didn't know enough about us, we are demoralized, angry and burned out. It will be interesting to see if anyone listens and does anything or if we all get fired.

I wish I could get cozy with my supervisor, manager, director and leadership team. I guess I am in the wrong department. Maybe I should apply for a job in the PHS department and then kiss some a** so I can be on permanent vacation while still getting payed to just come in the office.

I agree. It’s diffidently not the employee who wrote the “easy money” post. I feel bad for his coworkers that they are being treated this badly they had to come to this.

I am betting that the "easy money" employee that wrote and spilled the details, is actually one of the folks working with them, not that employee. They would be able to name the Supervisor, etc too as they witness it on a daily from the sounds of it. Either way, "easy money", you may be on your way out sooner than you think.

I was 100% honest on this survey, and I always have been. But this is the first time I have had a poor view on the company. I’m hoping to be on the lay off list. I feel bad for people who have actually been doing the ridiculous amount of work they are asking us to do.

This latest survey felt more like a “return-to-work” survey than employee engagement. Also, the wording of the Covid vaccine question was bordering on invasion of privacy in addition to being worded terribly. I have normally been cautious in my responses in previous surveys, but employee engagement is, in fact, dismal right now. Major changes are made with poor or lack of communication and there is no true change management. Eventually some of these large changes will catch up to the company. In the mean time, the best anyone can do is to be as honest as they feel they can be especially if things are subpar.

I told the truth in the latest survey. Stay tuned. I keep hoping they let me go. I'm done only giving them what they want to hear.

The best way to tell the truth is to ignore the emails and not take the survey. It will p- off the executives. They have a goal to have a minimum percentage of the employee population take the survey. if there was only a low percentage participation rate, perhaps these so called leaders might get the message. Such a complete waste of time.

I was in one department , and some ladies told the truth and it got back to our supervisor and manager and Ima be honest, yes their was retaliation on them and sorta the whole team.. They started micromanaging the team even worst to the point they had us write our name on something like a chalk board of our coming and goings (break time, lunch time etc. They also had tech support do time apprehension reports of their whole day. (the ones who told the truth, they ran reports on everything they from the hour on down to the minute of what they did for the day) . Some of them quit, and some got fired ,and laid off At this point, I am still going to tell the truth in my survey, hopefully they will let me go.
