Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

How do you manage to get the job done?

It may sound rude to those who want to keep their jobs, but it would suit me to get laid off in May. The problem is that I've been overwhelmed with work for several months now and I just can't take it anymore. I make various strategies on how to do as much as I am asked to do, but as time goes on I become more apathetic, demoralized and frustrated. What is your strategy to finish all the work (which is really enough work for several people?

Agree to report in your surveys and be brutal honest but not sure what compliance would do or how would have authority to change snything—they cannot fix an overall not good company.

I agree 100%. Overworked, overwhelmed and underappreciated.

I’m actually surprised they haven’t offered voluntarily layoff. I’m certain they’d get a lot of volunteers. It also may save someone who really wants or needs be here. I have heard from several people they had hoped to be in the last round or the next round. It feels like the company is running on auto-pilot right now prepping for either the next big acquisition or perhaps sale. Only time will tell...

I hear it’s easy job as a supervisor over in Ren 4 in Tampa, from posts on here. I’m gonna apply for one of those jobs! All that is required is walk breaks, flirting, and knowledge of how to play video games!

In all seriousness, this place is a joke. The people who actually care about doing their jobs are not appreciated and overworked, while the people who know how to play the political games and don’t care about hard work get rewarded. At the end of the day, you have to take care of you and your family. Put your energy into looking elsewhere where you might actually be appreciated.

I can't, I don't, and I won't.. I hope they lay me off as well. Is it a such thing as voluntary lay off? If so will they still payout severance?
