I don’t know what percentage of those laid off are rehired, but I guess it’s very small. I am interested in those who agreed to be rehired, how much worse conditions did they agree to? From what I heard, they offered much worse conditions. It's awful how much they use the bad situation on the market...

Rehired? Ha, we were never offered to relocate. Keep one dude and lives one hour from all activity.
It is a lot easier they say, to get a job when you have one. If they want to rehire you jump at the change. Good luck to everyone
Starving man? We ain't 1929 buddy, always humble but not id--t. There are a good bunch of options out there
the first thing a starving man must eat is his pride.
Friend of mine got rehired after being dumped unceremoniously after years of service. His contract is pretty much the same as before but now he is totally mercenary, won’t go the extra yard, won’t do anything that is out of his sphere, he won’t fix anything and will heap costs on the company whenever possible. Can’t blame him, but he’s seen how far being a loyal and conciseness employee got him......the hard way.
