Thread regarding Baker Hughes layoffs

Bonus

Any recently laid-off BHI employees had their bonus paid yet?

Apparently, you do get it, but when is the question.

The only division worth anything is marketing. BKR probably outsources that.
Flexible pipe marketing is awesome, but flexible and nonmetallic pipe originated with many small businesses in Colorado, New Mexico, Canada, and Texas. Flexible pipe has been used for two decades now. And majority of flexible pipe issues reside with micro leakage. That’s why the competition has resorted to none metallic high flex composite pipe. This composite technology has been approved in chemical plants. The equipment side of BKR is too late yet again!
BKR should buy another equipment company.

That’s exactly what I’m saying. 😂
Next time I’ll try to be more thoughtless!

Which bonus is this - the one for poor management performance or just plain stupidity

It was likely your great thoughts that did that.

There’s a silver lining. Maybe BKR could keep more folks working if the business wasn’t in such a hurry to give away money.
What am I thinking, it was my common sense that got me laid off in the first place.
New thought. BKR will definitely finish first in the industry.
