Hold on - Managers frown on staff working from home, yet they ARE always working from home or an alternative site near their home. I recall one manager having a meeting while driving to pick up their kid from the Mall while working from home.
During the pandemic, the plan was work from home using your equiptment and space. Staff was not required to sign a contract/agreement regarding equiptment, space needed to be fully operationional nor did it discuss the hours they needed to be available during the day. If the 25,000 want to work from home they will need to get division/area manager approval and sign an agreement/contract.

People who don't work for JPMC have no idea whats happening in the company with respect to work from home. News like this show up from time to time and it means almost nothing. New articles will regularly try to distort whatever little information they found and turn it into a something barely newsworthy.
25k work from home is a small number btw, JPMC has cover 250k employees globally.
It's time to get back to the office folks. Get some good face time in. It's not like everyone returns at once. It will be orderly and half capacity for a while.
Don't believe everything you read - especially in Forbes. They will write anything that any company pays them to write. Look up their past articles and you will see a lot of what they had written are full of cr-p.
