Any current/former California Allstate adjusters know the status of the settlement of this Class Action? I've tried calling the administrator number and get put on hold forever.

Insurance claims is a dead-end, thankless "career"--it wasn't always like that. You all should get out while you can and find something else to do. Kut-throat Korporate ameriKa has destroyed the profession. Good on the folks suing Allstate in Cali!

Meanwhile in the CA job market there are ZERO opportunities for claims adjusters. Unless you work in workers comp that require the adjusters to work in the state that they serve, there are little to no auto adjuster left in CA because all the insurance companies have moved to other states (can we say AZ?). Why? Because CA is lawsuit friendly and companies, including Allstate, got wise to it. Claims adjusters don't have to be in CA, so they moved all their claims offices out of the state to avoid the lawsuits. Careful what you wish for, it might result in more than you thought.
If the rest of the states follow the CA lawsuit model, what do you think will happen then? Can we say India? Zero American claim adjusters? You know it's possible as India is already handling quite of bit right now.

I was told the court held up something and it's now on hold. They told me to follow up in 60 days.
