Thread regarding National Oilwell Varco Inc. layoffs

Significant Achievements

Here comes the blah blah blah excuses from the Leadersh*t Team for the horrible Q1 Results.
A TRUE significant achievement for the company would be for the Chief Elfecutive to RESIGN. Take the rest of the losers with him.

  • you guys are fooling no one.

The main reason NOV dont ever report profits is because of the "Ive been here for 20 years plus brigade all thinking the length of services entitles them to have a job here and probably spend no more than 2 hour a shift being productive but spend the rest of their time secretly doing fuc5 all

Surely a paycut across the board shall facilitate in redycing prices and get all those muppets that are delusional in thinking they are managers out of the door?

It’s basically the same cr---y Varco company that had to be acquired & saved by NOI. Except this time there is no NOI or a Pete to save these useless shtheads.

The old Varco team led by Clay Williams taking the helm after Pete retired was the beginning of the end. I said it at the time and DAMN was I correct. truly sickening to see them destroy what Joel Staff started and Pete grew immensely with compassion for the workforce. Clay destroyed the culture and all the rest followed.

SICKENING!!!

@hab+1aAPZZbD, and there's a simple reason for that. As someone who was at NOV and warned them a decade ago that chasing offshore packages at the risk of land drillers, then their own internal arrogance in manufacturing ("we've always done it this way"), there's no way they can get the prices down. Management wants stories, not action. It looks good on Linkedin but doesn't sell product.

I can explain why NOV revenue is dropping, being on the client side. The prices are too high compared to the prices of your competitors. As simple as that.

Analyst estimates were for a loss of -$0.14 which was further revised lower to -$0.23 and then this tu-d ends up dropping a loss of -$0.30. Revenue still decreasing while we are in a full fledged recovery with oil at $63+. Continuing to run this company into the ground, look out below.
