The 2020 bonus was paid as a retention quarterly from July 2020 - April 2021 because we are so valued. But what is the plan for 2021 bonus? I feel like I’m missing something. There will be more than 5 people job searching if there’s no possibility for a bonus until next April!

I just heard about this through the grapevine, it was never put out officially anywhere. If it was then I blame management for not conveying the message. MAYBE they should have made this clear so people could have planned for this.
We got paid the 2019 bonus around April of 2020. We received four quarterly bonuses (July 2020, Oct 2020, Jan 2021, April 2021) that were the bonus for 2021. The 2021 bonus will be paid in 2022 (presumably April 2022). I may have the months slightly off, but that's how it worked. The 2020 bonus was paid as quarterly "retention bonuses" and wasn't subject to a multiplier, all due to the bankruptcy.
