Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Has Allstate made the company contribution to 401k this year?

Haven't noticed anything, but maybe I missed it? Thought it was supposed to be by end of 1st quarter.

I was riffed 10/30/20 - yes 55/20 - no surprise why I was let go. I received money in my 401K.

RIF'd 11/28/2020– definitely not of retirement age but I have been in profit sharing since I started about 15 yrs ago and the monies were in my account Feb 2021

For anyone that was laid off and received it, were you 55/20? That's what I was told was required to be eligible, otherwise SOL.

If you were laid off in October but had contributed to 401k all of 2020 until that point, are you eligible to receive the company match that was paid in February? Or do you have to be actively employed there at the time the company makes its distribution to be eligible?

It was in February. Same time as last year and the year before that and...
Check your profit sharing account. It only takes minutes to locate it.
