Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

Favoritism is becoming more and more obvious?

I really don’t know any way forward other than to leave this company as soon as possible.
No matter what your performance is, nothing can be done in this company if you are not among the favorite ones. They may be the worst employees, but the value of their work is regularly multiplied. Once upon a time, favoritism was at least covert but now it is becoming more and more obvious.

The Centene way...they lie about everything and the favoritism is sickening. They work you to death and then lay you off. The company made $111 BILLION in 2020, 3 massive layoffs in one year. Greedy. They don't care about their employees or members. just making as much money as possible...and guess where that money comes from? Federal and State taxes pay their salaries and huge profits

To the poster re: the CM supervisors. It’s absolutely frustrating, I’m sure. Maybe report it to the compliance line (you can do so anonymously). Now, it will go to HR if I’m not mistaken which means it may or may not be handled...sadly, they’re all in alliances like it’s an episode of “Survivor”. Keep the faith and know that karma comes around. I’m counting the days to hear that certain Legacy WellCare PHS/CM/UM “leaders” (term used verrrrry loosely) are laid off after watching their unprofessionalism and @ss kissing.

No, sounds like Orlando is similar to Tampa based UM and CM SUPERVISORS!!! Especially the CM SUPERVISORS that are currently occupying the REN Center. The two men and two lady supervisors. They know how to k–l company time and get away with it. Obviously the manager, director and the leadership team is in the cahoot with these supervisors. These supervisors are mimicking President Trump's word during a campaign before taking office when he said "“I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters." Basically the 4 CM supervisors who are in the REN center in Tampa won't reprimanded no matter what they do even if it's against company policy and morals. They will continue to take extended two hours lunches, take 3 - 20 minutes breaks so they can walk around the entire building, spend time playing video games in the conference room, play bingo, flirt with each other (they take turn coming to each other's cubical to laugh and giggle), and the remaining time hooked on there smartphone or on you tube.

It is absolutely ridiculous with the favoritism, especially keeping incompetent workers..definitely who you know or suck up to and dont make waves.

I have never seen a more unethical, incompetent amateur ," good ole girl network ". Everyone over looks the corrupt females in the workplace...I think it is pretty much the same with all the health plans under Canteen, seems they drive for incompetence and a high school atmosphere. They should incorporate these values in their mission statement..

Striving for incompetence, high school drama, requiring a job aid, and zero autonomy or ethical decision making drives our company...

Definitely in the Orlando office billing & reimbursement! Linelle kisses Tanya a– so much! 2019 called in 50% of the time, sleep at her desk, faking fall outs at work, Yet still have her job. Only reason she do is because she’s friends with Tanya (supervisor) kisses a– and tell everybody business. They talk c-ap about us gossiping but that’s all supervisors do! Oh and they hangout outside of work, fraternizing at its finest. But let’s how long this last.

Very Toxic! It’s was very clear in my department and I was brought in doing Covid and never entered the office. Now laid off.
