I am saddened that some are looking forward to working from home, given that layoffs are almost certain and they will be worse than 2020. I do not intend to spread panic, I'm just making an observation that people quickly forget that this is an absolutely immoral company and the fact that they have approved someone to work from home does not mean that they will not soon inform them that they do not have to work at all. Unfortunately.

Agreed. Saw in an email I'm now considered a full time work at home employee. But I'm a Field Appraiser so it could mean that I don't report to an office anymore but I never really did. I'm not one happy to be on house arrest permanently. They make it like a great thing. Not for everyone.
Being WFH asked me more time to search for a new job, win win
You’re right. The feelings that are on this blog are warranted. We cannot trust this company. This is a big win for them as having small offices scattered around is too expensive. If people can work from home effectively so be it. Bout time the company saw this light; since they’ve missed so many other lightbulb moments I’m hopeful for the large amount of injury adjusters for having. Jobs about a year. LDU is an entirely different case. They will outsource them to Allstate India soon. That handwriting has been on the wall ever since LAT, myclam site and AI. The big boys know employees would have thrown an even bigger fit on this blog had they not allowed the continuance of work from home. And the money they are throwing at us for the utilities to conduct working from home should of been done on a retro basis. All in all most are happy by the work from home option as now they can make some final decisions about their lives moving forward. Many will be leaving voluntarily by summer for higher paying jobs with ethical companies.
